Key Details of the Teacher Position

This is a contractual position with an initial duration of one year, with the potential for extension based on performance. The role is based at Cyril Academy in Samali. The monthly salary is ₹12,000 (negotiable).

Eligibility & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Essential Qualification: A BA or B.Sc degree along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.

• Preferable Experience: 1-2 years of teaching experience in an English-medium school is preferred.

• Age: Applicants must be between 21 and 45 years of age.

• Language Skills: Fluency in English, Bengali, and Hindi is essential.

• Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate is dynamic, highly motivated, dedicated, and possesses high integrity and determination. You must be willing to learn and grow, be a team player, and able to foster strong cooperation with parents and students.

• Technical Skills: Competence in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint) is required.

Major Job Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher at Cyril Academy, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that go beyond just classroom instruction. Your role will include:

• Teaching all subjects within the primary curriculum.

• Taking full responsibility for the academic progress of your class.

• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of student abilities.

• Organizing the classroom and learning resources to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

• Conducting extra-curricular activities and organizing school events, outings, and activities.

• Motivating students with enthusiastic and imaginative teaching methods while maintaining a disciplined classroom.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum-related work.

• Building a positive relationship with parents to support students' progress.
