Job Overview: The Mission

The formal title for this position is Program Associate; Focus area - Content development & Training. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between the Samanta Program Team, various partners, and government departments.

Rather than working in isolation, you will actively support the planning, implementation, and execution of education programs, making meaningful, systemic contributions to address real-world education challenges.

Key Responsibilities

As a Program Associate, your days will be diverse, collaborative, and deeply rewarding. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Pedagogy & Content Creation: Teach directly in classrooms to refine pedagogical approaches, understand the local context, and improve student learning outcomes. You will also design Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs) and high-quality learning content for children.

  • Training & Module Development: Create essential training modules, journals, handbooks, and presentations to empower teachers and stakeholders.

  • Program Implementation & Execution: Support the daily planning, coordination, and execution of program activities, ensuring everything aligns perfectly with project goals.

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Gather data, conduct rigorous research, and analyze information to continuously improve program design, monitoring, and evaluation.

  • Reporting & Communication: Draft high-quality reports, presentations, and communication materials that showcase program results and insights.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Samanta Foundation at workshops, meetings, and events to nurture strong relationships with donors, government agencies, and NGOs.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To succeed in this fast-paced and impactful environment, Samanta Foundation is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required, though a D.El.Ed, B.Ed, or Master's degree is highly preferred.

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on teaching experience is essential to truly understand the classroom dynamics and student needs.

  • Language Proficiency: Complete fluency in both English and Hindi is required for effective stakeholder engagement.

  • Technical & Professional Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines, combined with proficiency in research methods, data analysis, and report writing. You should also possess excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.
