Job Overview: The Role of a Program Associate
The Program Associate will focus primarily on Training & Partnerships. This dynamic role requires engaging directly with the Samanta Program Team, external partners, and various Government departments. The core focus is to support the planning, implementation, and scaling of educational initiatives while building robust government relations.
Important Note: This is an in-person role that involves working directly on the ground among beneficiaries and local communities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Program Associate, your day-to-day activities will blend fieldwork, content development, and strategic coordination:
Classroom & Pedagogy: Teach in the classroom to actively develop pedagogy, understand localized educational contexts, and improve student learning outcomes.
Content Development: Design and develop educational content tailored to specific program needs, particularly keeping program partnerships in mind.
Project Execution: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of program activities, ensuring everything aligns seamlessly with project goals.
Data & Research: Assist in gathering data, conducting field research, and analyzing information to directly inform future program design, monitoring, and evaluation.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and communication materials to showcase program results and insights.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with team members, partners, and beneficiaries for smooth project implementation.
Representation: Represent Samanta Foundation at meetings, workshops, and events to nurture relationships with donors, government representatives, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Samanta Foundation is looking for dedicated professionals who combine field experience with strong analytical and communication skills.
Educational Background & Experience:
Degree: Bachelor’s degree is required, while a D.El.Ed, B.Ed, or Master’s degree is highly preferred.
Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on teaching experience, alongside exposure to managing partnerships within the development domain.
Core Skills:
Organization: Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Research: Proficiency in research methods, data analysis, and technical report writing.
Languages: Fluency in both English and Hindi is required.
