This crucial role in Mumbai offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of environmental and public health advocacy. You'll be instrumental in executing campaigns and activities aimed at mitigating climate change and achieving clean air within the state.1
A Role with Tangible Impact: Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a central role in coordinating and executing DFCA's strategic initiatives in Maharashtra. Your responsibilities will include:
Campaign Execution: Assisting state leads in the planning, organization, and execution of air quality, climate, and sustainability-related campaigns and activities.2
Stakeholder Coordination: Closely engaging and coordinating with diverse groups, including the Government, civil society, doctors, academic institutions, medical associations, and media.3
Research Support: Assisting doctors with various research activities, such as data collection and analysis.4
Strategic Reporting: Working closely with the DFCA secretariat in Delhi to align with the larger strategic framework, report on progress, and disseminate essential resources.5

Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate
LCF is looking for a driven professional who is ready to make a difference. Essential qualifications include:
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in program coordination, ideally in healthcare, environmental advocacy, or public health campaigns.6
Education: A postgraduate degree in Public Health (MPH), Master of Social Work (MSW), Environmental Sciences, or a related field. A degree in medicine (Allopathy or AYUSH) is an added advantage.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Impressive written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS-Office.
