Shiksha Seva Foundation, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls and women, is officially expanding its team. The foundation is looking for a dynamic, motivated, and field-ready Program Executive to join its mission in Borivali, Mumbai.
Whether you are a recent graduate eager to make a difference or an early-career professional looking for a purpose-driven role, this opportunity offers the perfect platform to create a measurable, sustainable social impact.
Job Overview: Program Executive
Position: Program Executive
Location: Borivali, Mumbai (with regular field travel)
Experience Required: 0–2 years (Freshers are welcome!)
Reporting To: Program Coordinator / Department Head
Core Focus Areas: Education, Healthcare, Nutrition, and Women Empowerment
What Does a Program Executive Do?
As a Program Executive at Shiksha Seva Foundation, you won’t just be sitting behind a desk. You will be the vital link between the foundation and the communities it serves.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will bridge on-ground execution with digital documentation across core initiatives like the Shiksha Smart Class, Kanya Shiksha Yojana, Udaan, Project Annadan, and various Free Health Checkups or Skill Centres.
1. On-Ground Field Execution
You will work directly with communities, educational institutions, and healthcare camps. This includes conducting field visits for beneficiary verification, supporting enrollment processes, and ensuring programs roll out smoothly on the ground.
2. Event & Stakeholder Coordination
From organizing logistics for distribution drives and health camps to managing venue arrangements, you will be the driving force behind the foundation's events. You will also build strong, trusted relationships with beneficiaries, local community members, and partner schools.
3. Data Collection, Tracking & Reporting
Data is what proves an NGO's impact. You will be responsible for collecting accurate field metrics (attendance, health/education data) and maintaining digital and physical records. You will also prepare daily/weekly activity reports and assist in gathering photo and video documentation for donor and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting.
4. Impact Assessments & Research
Before a program rolls out, you will conduct Baseline Surveys to capture the starting-point needs of a community. Your ground-level observations will directly feed into Need Assessment Reports, Impact Reports, and the foundation’s Annual Report to showcase outcomes to CSR partners.
Who is the Ideal Candidate?
Shiksha Seva Foundation is looking for empathetic, highly adaptable individuals who aren't afraid to step out into the field.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), Business Administration (BBA), or any related field.
Experience: 0–2 years. While prior internship or volunteering experience with an NGO is an advantage, it is not mandatory. Freshers with a genuine passion for social causes are highly encouraged to apply!
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and the local language.
Tech-Savviness: Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfort using mobile apps or digital forms for on-field data collection.
Working Conditions & Core Mindset:
Extensive Field Travel: Willingness to travel regularly to field and program locations—including rural and semi-urban areas—is a core requirement.
Adaptability: Comfort working directly with diverse beneficiaries under varying field conditions.
Flexibility: The role involves flexible work hours, including occasional weekends, depending on scheduled program events.
Why Join Shiksha Seva Foundation?
Working with Shiksha Seva Foundation is more than just a job—it is an opportunity to be part of a structured movement empowering girls and women. You will gain firsthand experience in the development sector, learn how CSR-funded projects operate, and develop invaluable skills in project management, data tracking, and community public relations.
