This role is designed for a finance professional who wants to make a tangible impact on wildlife conservation in India by ensuring fiscal integrity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Driving Financial Integrity

The Program Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end financial health of the organization. Key duties include:

  • Financial Management & Systems: Managing all finance and accounting requirements, including day-to-day reviews using Tally or other accounting software.

  • ERP Implementation: Leading the implementation of ERP systems to ensure seamless integration across Finance, Accounts, HR, and Operations.

  • Budgeting & Reporting: Preparing and executing comprehensive operating budgets, including analysis of "Budget vs. Actuals" and tracking physical impact metrics.

  • Compliance & Audits: Ensuring strict adherence to FCRA, Income Tax, TDS, and other legal regulations. You will also liaise with auditors for internal and statutory audits.

  • Project Accounting: Providing accurate job cost reporting and financial projections for active conservation projects.

  • Fund Management: Maintaining optimal cash flow and liquidity to meet both strategic and operational requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

CWS is looking for a self-motivated leader with a background in the development sector.

Educational Background:

  • CA, CA-Inter, or MBA in Finance.

Professional Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in finance management within a Development Sector Organization.

  • Experience working in a National Level Organization with annual operating budgets exceeding 10–15 crores.

  • Deep familiarity with Trust or NGO financial operations.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Expertise in Tally (preferably ERP 9.0) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical thinking with a focus on speed and accuracy.

  • Proven ability to lead ERP system integrations.
