The Program Manager position at Aarohan NGO is central to the organization's success, encompassing a broad spectrum of responsibilities from strategic planning to on-the-ground implementation and crucial stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

1. Strategic Program Planning and Development

  • Goal Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate program strategies and goals, ensuring they are perfectly aligned with Aarohan's mission.

  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough research, analysis, and needs assessments to pinpoint program priorities, target beneficiaries, and potential partners.

  • Design & Budgeting: Design comprehensive program plans, complete with clear objectives, activities, timelines, and budgets, while rigorously adhering to donor requirements.

2. Project Management and Oversight

  • Implementation: Oversee the daily execution of programs and projects, strictly maintaining adherence to established plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Coordination: Effectively coordinate activities across teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure the achievement of program objectives.

  • Resource Optimization: Manage financial, material, and human resources efficiently to maximize program delivery and impact.

3. Critical Donor Reporting and Compliance

  • Data Analysis: Gather and analyze program data, financial expenditures, and key metrics to produce accurate and complete reports.

  • Report Drafting: Draft compelling donor reports, including program updates, financial summaries, success stories, and impact assessments, adhering to specified formats and guidelines.

  • Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with organizational policies and donor agreements, utilizing a tracking system for timely report submission and archiving all documentation for audits.

4. Capacity Building and Team Development

  • Training Needs: Identify gaps and opportunities for staff, partners, and beneficiaries, designing and facilitating targeted capacity-building activities.

  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to program staff and partners, fostering professional development.

  • Analytics: Track and report on social media performance metrics to drive audience growth and increase engagement.
