About the Role
As a Program Officer, you will take the lead in designing, implementing, and scaling entrepreneurship and skilling initiatives across Ranchi and its neighboring districts. This is a field-intensive, high-impact position suited for someone who enjoys working directly with communities while also managing partnerships and reporting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Leading the planning, implementation, and scale-up of Entrepreneurship and Skilling programs in Ranchi and nearby districts
Conducting baseline assessments, community mobilization, and identifying eligible beneficiaries
Facilitating Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs) and other skilling initiatives
Supporting enterprise setup, job placement, and sustainable livelihood linkages for beneficiaries
Building and managing partnerships with CSR stakeholders, government departments, and local institutions
Ensuring effective program monitoring, reporting, and documentation, including case studies and impact stories
Representing YouthAid Foundation at local, district, state, and national-level forums and networking events
Key Deliverables
Success in this role will be measured through:
Mobilization and training of the targeted number of beneficiaries under skilling and entrepreneurship programs
Facilitation of new enterprise creation and/or successful job placements
Strengthening of the local ecosystem through strategic partnerships and institutional linkages
Timely submission of high-quality program reports and documentation
Eligibility Criteria
YouthAid Foundation is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
A postgraduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, or a related field
2–3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in entrepreneurship development and/or skilling programs
Prior exposure to grassroots or community-based projects will be considered a strong advantage
