Legal Advocacy and Representation: Leading the charge in preparing legal documentation, managing ongoing cases, and representing the Foundation in various courts and tribunals. This encompasses drafting petitions, representations, and complaints, ensuring that the voices of survivors are amplified and their fundamental rights are upheld.
Comprehensive Reporting and Documentation: Crafting compelling reports, well-researched proposals, and insightful case studies that not only fulfill project requirements but also powerfully illustrate the crucial work being undertaken.
Survivor Engagement and Outreach: Collaborating closely with survivors, raising awareness about the unique challenges they face, cultivating strong and trusting relationships, and actively supporting advocacy initiatives. Diligent documentation of their experiences is also a core responsibility, serving to inform and strengthen legal strategies.
Strategic Programme Oversight: Monitoring the progress of projects, identifying areas ripe for enhancement, and recommending innovative strategies to ensure the successful achievement of program objectives. This also involves fostering strong collaboration with internal teams and representing the Foundation at key meetings and events.
In-depth Research and Exploration: Conducting both legal and non-legal research to uncover new avenues and opportunities that can significantly advance the organization's mission and expand its reach.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Brave Souls Foundation is actively seeking a highly motivated individual with a robust legal background and a profound understanding of the complex challenges faced by survivors of acid attacks and gender-based violence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
A Bachelor's degree in Law.
A minimum of two years of practical experience appearing before courts and tribunals, coupled with extensive expertise in drafting legal documents.
Exceptional organizational and coordination capabilities.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication proficiencies, crucial for effective engagement with survivors, colleagues, and external partners.
An unwavering commitment to human rights and social justice.
Proficiency in legal knowledge, strong written communication, data management, and accurate reporting.
Remuneration and Application Process
The compensation for this impactful role ranges from ₹25,000/- to ₹35,000/-.
