Key Roles & Responsibilities

The selected Project Co-ordinator will lead grassroot-level interventions to support livestock farmers. The core responsibilities include:

  • Program Implementation: Execute targeted development activities for goat, dairy, and poultry sectors.

  • Capacity Building: Provide critical technical support and training sessions to livestock farmers and ground-level field staff.

  • Health & Awareness Initiatives: Organize animal health camps, vaccination drives, and community awareness programs.

  • Livelihood Promotion: Foster scientific livestock management practices, with a strong focus on empowering women-led livelihoods.

  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Conduct regular field visits, monitor project progress, prepare comprehensive reports, and seamlessly coordinate with various stakeholders.

  • Project Support: Handle overall project implementation and other related developmental activities.

Eligibility Criteria: Qualifications & Skills Required

AFARM is looking for a qualified professional who possesses a blend of academic knowledge and hands-on field experience.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following degrees:

  • M.V.Sc. (Master of Veterinary Science)

  • B.V.Sc. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science)

  • M.Sc. Agri. specializing in Animal & Dairy Science

Required Experience & Competencies

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience working directly in livestock livelihood programs.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing Dairy, Goatry, and Poultry projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of animal health, fodder management, and disease control mechanisms.
