The Project Coordinator will be the backbone of Project Nourish, Astitva’s core health and nutrition initiative. This field-based role is crucial for ensuring the effective and timely delivery of nutrition interventions across multiple villages.

Key Responsibilities: What You'll Be Doing 🗺️
As the Project Coordinator, your daily efforts will directly contribute to the success of Project Nourish. Your responsibilities will include:
Project Leadership: Coordinating the planning and implementation of all Project Nourish activities.
Field Supervision: Supervising and supporting field teams in their daily operational tasks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a crucial link by liaising with key bodies like the ICDS, the Health Department, and various partner NGOs.
Monitoring & Reporting: Conducting frequent field visits for monitoring, troubleshooting issues, compiling essential data, and preparing comprehensive monthly/quarterly reports.
Community Mobilization: Facilitating training sessions, awareness campaigns, and community events to drive engagement and adoption of best practices.
Goal Tracking: Diligently tracking project progress against defined goals and ensuring the timely completion of all tasks.
Organizational Contribution: Reporting directly to the Project Manager and contributing valuable insights to project reviews and evaluations.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Excellent communication and documentation skills in both Tamil and English.
A proven ability to multitask and coordinate effectively with diverse teams.

Desirable Qualifications (A Plus!):
A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related fields such as Sociology, Public Health, Rural Development, Development Studies, or Nutrition.
Prior experience working with an NGO or on government-linked health/nutrition projects.
Being a resident of The Nilgiris is preferred due to the field-based nature of the work.
Compensation & Application Details
