The Heart of the Role: Leading Transformative Change

As the Project Manager, you'll be instrumental in shaping the success of the Skills Development Project, overseeing its entire lifecycle from inception to evaluation. This is more than a job; it's a chance to make a tangible difference in people's lives. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Project Oversight: Guiding the meticulous planning, seamless implementation, and comprehensive monitoring of all project activities.

  • Building Strong Partnerships: Cultivating and maintaining vital relationships with training partners, government bodies, and internal teams to ensure collaborative success.

  • Community Engagement & Mobilization: Leading dynamic outreach initiatives and community mobilization efforts to maximize project reach and impact at the grassroots level.

  • Resource Stewardship: Expertly managing project timelines, optimizing budgets, and maintaining precise documentation.

  • Transparent Reporting: Preparing insightful reports and MIS (Management Information Systems) for both donors and internal stakeholders, showcasing progress and accountability.

  • Quality Assurance & Impact Measurement: Implementing robust quality control measures and conducting thorough impact assessments to ensure the project's effectiveness and achieve desired outcomes.

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Inspiring and guiding a dedicated team of trainers, field staff, and coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitating regular review meetings and providing strategic insights to continuously enhance project performance and innovation.

Who We're Looking For: Your Profile

We're seeking an individual who is not only professionally accomplished but also deeply committed to our mission. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Educational Background: A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related relevant field.

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong preference for individuals from the skilling or NGO sector.

  • Core Competencies: Demonstrated excellence in communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office applications and proven expertise in report writing.

  • Advantageous Knowledge: Familiarity with government schemes related to skill development will be a significant asset.
