Project Manager: Key Role and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be the overall in-charge of the project, responsible for its effective functioning and achievement of deliverables, often aligning with national guidelines like those from NACO (National AIDS Control Organisation) for targeted interventions (TI).
What You'll Be Doing:
Programme Leadership: Serve as the overall in-charge, ensuring the project adheres to operational guidelines and achieves its ambitious targets.
Field Engagement: Spend significant time (10-15 days a month) in the field, conducting site visits to hotspots, supervising staff like PEs/ORWs (Peer Educators/Outreach Workers), and directly interacting with beneficiaries (HRGs).
Coordination & Advocacy: Maintain close liaison with district-level Government Departments, MDACS, DISHA/SETU, and other funding/nodal agencies. Establish crucial linkages for referral services and conduct stakeholder meetings.
Team Management: Organize weekly review meetings, supervise staff performance, assess capacity building needs, and guide the team under your leadership.
Reporting & Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis, prepare comprehensive monthly reports, and ensure timely submission of program performance data in systems like SIMS/CMIS.
Strategic Planning: Prepare need-based monthly action plans, follow up on action points, and assist in implementing revamped strategies like Programmatic Mapping Population size Estimation (MPSE).
