About the Role
The Project Officer – Technical will play a critical role in supporting School WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and Sustainable Liquid Waste Management (SLWM) infrastructure projects. This position is based in Kapurthala, Punjab, with one vacancy currently open.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Candidates should hold a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction works. Prior exposure to School WASH or SLWM infrastructure projects will be considered an added advantage.
The role demands strong technical proficiency, including:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD for design purposes
Experience with estimations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and Measurement Books (MB Books)
Sound command over MS Office for reporting and documentation
Willingness to undertake rural field travel
Ability to supervise construction activities on-site
Strong coordination skills to liaise effectively with schools and local communities
This is a field-intensive role suited for engineers who are comfortable working directly at project sites and engaging with community stakeholders to ensure successful infrastructure delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
FINISH Society is offering a monthly remuneration in the range of ₹28,000 to ₹32,000, along with travel allowance, reflecting the field-based nature of the job.
