The Role: Crafting Compelling Narratives for Impact
MMBA is searching for a passionate, proactive, and highly skilled Proposal Writer to spearhead the creation and submission of compelling project proposals. This role is more than just writing; it requires a creative mind capable of designing professional and visually appealing proposals that resonate with donor formats and expectations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Strategic Grant Identification: Researching and identifying relevant grant opportunities from government bodies, CSR initiatives, and international agencies.
Proposal Development: Drafting detailed project proposals, concept notes, and expressions of interest (EOI) that clearly articulate MMBA's vision and proposed interventions.
Professional Design: Ensuring proposals are visually appealing and professionally formatted using tools such as Canva, MS Word, PowerPoint, and other design applications.
Collaborative Synergy: Coordinating closely with program, finance, and field teams to gather accurate data, compelling success stories, and robust implementation frameworks.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining a comprehensive repository of submitted proposals, templates, and reference documents, while assisting with donor communications, compliance documentation, and due diligence processes.
Staying Ahead: Keeping abreast of the latest government schemes, CSR trends, and evolving donor requirements to maximize funding opportunities.
Who Should Apply?
MMBA is looking for candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria:
Education: A postgraduate degree (Master's mandatory), with an MSW preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years of proven experience in proposal writing within the NGO or development sector.
Essential Skills:
Exceptional writing, editing, and documentation skills in both English and Hindi.
Proficiency in designing proposals using various tools, including Canva, Google Docs, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
The ability to structure content logically, incorporating visuals, data tables, budgets, and annexures effectively.
Familiarity with online submission portals like Darpan, NGO Portal, and various CSR portals.
Strong attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
A foundational understanding of rural development, Self-Help Group (SHG) models, livelihood programs, and women's empowerment initiatives.
Location and Remuneration
