The Opportunity: Architect of Change ✍️

The ideal candidate will be the driving force behind securing the resources needed to fuel AVN Trust's vital work. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and project management. You'll be responsible for researching and identifying grant opportunities from government bodies, CSR initiatives, and international agencies.

Your primary focus will be to craft compelling and meticulously detailed project proposals, concept notes, and expressions of interest (EOIs). This involves more than just writing; you will be expected to design visually engaging documents using tools like Canva, MS Word, and PowerPoint, ensuring each submission is professional, polished, and aligned with donor expectations.

Success in this role means collaborating closely with program, finance, and field teams to weave together accurate data, inspiring success stories, and robust implementation frameworks into a persuasive narrative for change.

Who We're Looking For: The Ideal Candidate Profile 💼

AVN Trust is looking for a dedicated professional who is ready to take ownership of the grant acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research & Identify: Proactively find relevant grant opportunities from government, CSR, and international sources.

• Draft & Design: Author and design high-impact project proposals, concept notes, and EOIs.

• Collaborate: Work with internal teams to gather data, budgets, success stories, and logical frameworks.

• Organize: Maintain a comprehensive repository of all proposals, templates, and essential documents.

• Support: Assist in donor communications, due diligence, and compliance documentation.

• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest government schemes, CSR trends, and donor requirements, especially concerning rural development, Self-Help Group (SHG) models, and women's empowerment.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: A postgraduate Master’s degree is mandatory, with a preference for a Master of Social Work (MSW).

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in proposal writing for NGOs or in the development sector.

• Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and documentation skills in both English and Hindi.

  • Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Google Docs, and the MS Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with online submission platforms such as the Darpan portal, NGO Portal, and various CSR portals.

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
