The Role of a Project Analyst
As a Project Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's data systems and pipelines. The position requires strong skills in data analysis, digital tools, and the ability to coordinate with field teams. A key responsibility is to support site selection by understanding and maintaining the criteria for choosing solar farming sites. This includes cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing demographic, socio-economic, and geographical data collected by field teams. You will also be responsible for preparing biweekly reports and recommendations to maintain the project site pipeline.
Other key responsibilities for the Project Analyst include:
Managing Kobo Toolbox: Developing and managing digital survey forms and overseeing user access and troubleshooting.
Digital Data Management: Digitizing and updating project and equipment data, managing the company's complaint logging system, and maintaining up-to-date engineering records.
Cross-Team Support: Providing data and reporting support to various teams, including Business Development, Finance, Field Operations, and Partnerships & Impact. This involves tasks like analyzing survey data, verifying payment reports, and tracking sales data.
Qualifications and Benefits
Oorja is looking for candidates with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or operations coordination. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Workspace, and digital survey platforms like Kobo Toolbox is essential. The role also requires excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English.
