Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
A Master's degree in Life Sciences, with at least one year of relevant work experience. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Strong command over English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Qualification:
Fluency in English (reading and writing) will be an added advantage during selection.
Key Responsibilities
As a Scientific Administrative Officer, the selected candidate will be expected to:
Support the Principal Investigator and Programme Head in report writing, correspondence, and financial/accounts settlements
Gather, collate, and organise field data submitted by project teams stationed across different locations
Ensure timely coordination and compilation of scientific reports
Draft official letters, correspondence, and meeting minutes
Manage procurement processes and maintain stock records for scientific equipment
Provide logistical and organisational support for workshops, seminars, and conferences
Travel extensively across India as per project requirements
Be physically and mentally prepared to work in demanding field conditions and variable weather
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of fieldwork, scientific coordination, and administrative responsibility, and who is passionate about wetland conservation and biodiversity.
