The Role: Senior Executive – Business Development

As a Senior Executive – Business Development, you will be at the heart of Sambodhi's growth, driving the expansion of its impactful work. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational activities that fuel new partnerships and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Proactively researching organizations, individuals, and new markets to identify potential leads.

• Leading the preparation of compelling tenders and proposals for research projects.

• Conducting preliminary screening and analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).

• Engaging with potential clients to establish rapport, understand their needs, and set up strategic meetings.

• Maintaining and managing the Business Development database and related documentation.

• Performing due diligence and consistent follow-ups.

• Collaborating seamlessly with other departments, including Research, HR, and Finance, to ensure cohesive project acquisition.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who is eager to apply their skills in a purpose-driven environment.

Desired Profile:

• Education: A Master’s Degree in any Social discipline, an MBA, or a related field.

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the development sector.

• Core Competencies:

  • A foundational understanding of the social and development landscape.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong time management and prioritization abilities.

  • A flexible work ethic with a willingness to go the extra mile when required.
