Key Strategic HR Leadership Role
Reporting directly to the Director – HR, Administration & Procurement, the Senior Manager - HR will be the backbone of the organization's HR function. The core purpose of the position is to lead end-to-end HR management and provide strategic support in developing and implementing Habitat India’s HR plans and strategies.
This multifaceted role spans several critical areas, requiring a seasoned professional with a minimum of 12 years of experience in HR and administration management, preferably holding an HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR).
Core Areas of Responsibility:
HR Operations & Employee Relations: Oversee all day-to-day HR operations, serve as the primary contact for employee life cycle queries, manage grievance redressal, and ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations. A key part of this includes handling POSH-related cases and coordinating payroll.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Drive the full recruitment cycle for professional and managerial roles, collaborating with hiring managers to define skills and competencies. The role also requires close adherence to safer recruitment guidelines and managing relationships with third-party recruitment partners.
HR Development and Management: Lead staff capacity-building initiatives through systematic Training Needs Identification (TNI), designing learning programs, and facilitating succession planning to build strong internal talent pipelines.
HR Analytics & Reporting: Develop and maintain a comprehensive HR dashboard, producing vital reports on recruitment, employee turnover, and demographics to inform board and management decision-making.
People Management & Safeguarding: Supervise and develop direct reports, ensuring the organization strictly adheres to safer recruitment standards and that all staff complete mandatory safeguarding induction and refresher training.
