Ignite Innovation: The Role of Senior Officer – EdTech

The Senior Officer – EdTech will be the catalyst for innovation and technology integration within Quest Alliance’s transformative education programs. The core focus of this position is to nurture creativity and problem-solving skills among government school students by:

• Designing and Implementing Ideathons & Hackathons: Driving the full cycle of these events—from ideation to prototyping—and providing essential technical mentorship on hardware-software integration (IoT, sensors, microcontrollers) and basic coding (Python, Scratch, JavaScript).

• Building Sustainable Tinkering Environments: Setting up and maintaining hands-on STEM learning spaces in schools and building the capacity of teachers and teams to ensure their long-term sustenance.

• Creating Advanced Innovation Pathways: Co-designing and executing high-level hackathon bootcamps, enabling students to develop advanced Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and connecting top innovators to valuable post-event opportunities like mentorships, higher education exposure, and national innovation forums.

This role is ideal for a hands-on problem-solver with a blend of technical expertise, facilitation skills, and a strong commitment to equity-centered learning and iterative design.

Your Expertise and Rewards

Key Skills & Profile:

• 3–5 years of experience in EdTech, STEM education, or learning experience design, preferably within the non-profit sector.

• Strong working knowledge of hardware-software integration (IoT, microcontrollers).

• Intermediate proficiency in relevant programming languages.

• Excellent documentation, communication, and facilitation skills.

• A passion for learner agency and iterative design.

• Salary: Commensurate with experience, with the pay band starting at Rs. 47,000/- per month (CTC).
