The Core of the Role: Finance and Administrative Leadership
The Senior State Admin & Finance Officer will be responsible for a dual function encompassing Programme Administration and Finance. Reporting to the Lead - State Head (UP) with a dotted line to the Associate Director Finance (HO), the role requires a hands-on approach to both financial oversight and comprehensive administrative support.
Key responsibilities include:
Financial Oversight & Coordination: Verifying invoices and claims, coordinating with the Head Office for advance releases and settlements, and ensuring timely preparation of the monthly program office budget.
Audit Management: Acting as a key point of contact for auditors, managing audit compliances, and ensuring the closure of audit paras.
Program Documentation & Procurement: Taking the lead in preparing process notes, assisting program teams with documentation, managing end-to-end procurement processes, and maintaining crucial contracts and payment trackers.
Office Administration & HR Support: Supervising asset management, maintaining office premises, managing all state vendors, and providing essential HR-related assistance during staff onboarding and relieving.
The role demands a high degree of adaptability, initiative, and adherence to policies, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English.

Essential qualifications and experience include:
A Minimum Post Graduation Degree in Finance from a reputed educational institution.
At least 5 years of experience in office administration, accounting, and program support.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong negotiation skills are highly valued.
The successful candidate will be measured on key performance indicators such as efficient Vendor Management, Logistics Management, Assets Management, and seamless coordination for payment processing.
