Skill development programmes depend on one thing above all: reaching the right young people and helping them take the first step. B-ABLE Foundation, whose tagline is "Catalysing Livelihoods," is now looking for a Sourcing Officer in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, to do that work for its Phlebotomy Skill Building Program.
About the Role
The Sourcing Officer will be the link between the programme and the communities it aims to serve. The job centres on candidate sourcing and mobilisation: finding, engaging and guiding young people who could benefit from training in phlebotomy, a skill that opens pathways to employment in the healthcare sector.
This is a field-facing position. Much of the work happens in communities, through conversations with youth and potential candidates, rather than behind a desk.
Key Responsibilities
The person in this role will:
Source and mobilise candidates for the programme
Engage with youth and potential candidates
Build strong local networks and run outreach activities
Conduct field visits and work toward mobilisation targets
Coordinate with candidates and support the enrolment process
Travel locally for mobilisation and outreach
Who Should Apply
