About the Role: A Catalyst for Change 🚀

As the Specialist – Men for Gender Justice, you will be the driving force behind a program that seeks to dismantle harmful stereotypes and redefine what it means to be a man. Your work will focus on engaging men and boys to promote personal well-being, improve relationships, and create a more gender-sensitive environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Program Leadership: Oversee the program's strategy, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring its effectiveness and impact.

• Community Engagement: Facilitate workshops, lead training sessions, and conduct community outreach to engage men, boys, and parents on crucial gender issues.

• Partnership Building: Forge strong collaborations with government agencies, NGOs, and community groups to amplify the program’s reach and influence.

• Content Development: Create and refine program materials, including toolkits and curriculum, to support stakeholders and participants.

• Advocacy & Campaigns: Spearhead impactful campaigns like #GharKaKaamSabkaKaam (Household Work is Everyone's Work) to challenge norms around unpaid care work.

• Reporting & Monitoring: Prepare detailed progress and evaluation reports for donors and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

This role requires a proactive and empathetic leader with strong program management and facilitation skills. You'll need to be adept at navigating complex social issues and building long-term, sustainable solutions.

Who We're Looking For: Your Profile 🔎

We are seeking a candidate with 5-8 years of experience in a similar field, with a strong background in gender and masculinity training. A Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like social work or gender studies is desirable. We have a preference for cis men or trans men, and candidates from all marginalized communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Required qualifications:

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in gender and development work, with prior experience in masculinity training being a plus.

• Skills: Excellent program management, facilitation, and community engagement abilities. The capacity to handle pressure and uncertainty while building resilient solutions is key.

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of gender justice issues, masculinities, and program management.

• Language: Proficiency in English and Hindi is essential, with knowledge of local languages like Bangla or Tamil being a significant advantage.
