Role Overview: State Coordinator (Delhi)

As the State Coordinator, you will act as the anchor for Ujaas’s initiatives in the Delhi region. This role requires a balance of leadership, field execution, and strategic networking.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will oversee field-level execution and ensure the seamless delivery of the program’s objectives. Core duties include:

  • District & Block Management: Manage and oversee assigned districts/blocks to ensure all project targets are successfully met.

  • Team Leadership: Effectively lead, mentor, and handle field team members.

  • Team Alignment: Conduct regular meetings to monitor progress, align goals, and maintain team momentum.

  • On-Ground Problem Solving: Identify and proactively address field-level challenges as they arise.

  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Conduct regular field and monitoring visits to schools, health posts, government offices, and other implementation sites.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate and build robust networks with both government and non-government stakeholders to secure permissions and execute programs effectively.

  • Data & Administration: Take responsibility for data collection, field team reporting, and basic accounts management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a mix of technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills:

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Hindi language proficiency is preferred).

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation, planning, organization, and coordination abilities.

  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficient in data handling, documentation, and problem-solving.
