Trust Community Livelihoods (TCL) Hiring: Accountant cum MIS Coordinator in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar
Trust Community Livelihoods (TCL), an organisation working under the tagline “Creating wealth for the poor,” is hiring an Accountant cum MIS Coordinator. The role suits professionals who combine accounting skills with data management and want to work on community development at the grassroots level. The posting is for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
About Trust Community Livelihoods (TCL)
TCL works on livelihood and community development initiatives focused on improving incomes and opportunities for poor and rural communities. It works through field-level structures such as Block Coordinators, Field Coordinators and Community Resource Persons (CRPs), and aligns its work with government programmes.
About the Role
The Accountant cum MIS Coordinator handles two functions: managing the organisation’s accounts and finances, and running the Management Information System (MIS) that tracks project progress. The person in this role helps ensure that money is properly recorded and that field data is accurate and ready for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and finance
Manage day-to-day accounting, including vouchers, cash, stock and financial records.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements such as TDS, EPF, ESI and FCRA.
Maintain fixed asset registers, inventories and accounting documentation.
MIS and data management
Develop and manage MIS formats for timely data collection, validation and reporting.
Prepare MIS reports and analyse project data to support informed decision-making.
Coordinate with Block Coordinators, Field Coordinators and CRPs to keep field data accurate.
Train project staff on data collection, computer usage and MIS systems.
Support project documentation, reporting and convergence with government programmes.
Eligibility and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Computer Applications or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years in Accounting, MIS or NGO project management.
Technical skills: Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, MS Office and digital data management tools.
Knowledge: Understanding of statutory compliance, financial reporting and MIS systems.
Soft skills: Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
Mobility: Willingness to stay and travel in rural areas. This is a field-facing role, so candidates who prefer a purely office-based setup may find it demanding.
What TCL Offers
Competitive salary
Professional growth and learning opportunities
Hands-on experience in finance and MIS
A supportive and collaborative work environment
Who Should Apply?
This role is a good fit for:
Commerce and accounting graduates who want to move into the development sector
MIS and data professionals with some accounting exposure
NGO professionals with field experience in project monitoring and reporting
Candidates from Uttar Pradesh or Bihar who are comfortable working in rural areas
Tips for Applicants
Show both skill sets. Because the role is a hybrid, highlight your accounting work (Tally, vouchers, compliance) and your MIS or reporting work (Excel, dashboards, data validation) in your resume.
Mention statutory knowledge. Experience with TDS, EPF, ESI or FCRA compliance will make your application stand out.
Highlight field exposure. Any experience coordinating with field teams or working in rural areas is a plus.
Show training experience. The role includes training project staff, so mention any time you have trained or supported colleagues.
