The Role: Teaching Assistant (Foundational Learning Project)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children to strengthen their fundamental skills. You will work hand-in-hand with students, teachers, school authorities, and internal project teams to ensure smooth classroom engagement and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Facilitation: Lead engaging, arts-integrated sessions focusing on foundational Math, English, and Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL).
Project Implementation: Execute scheduled school activities on time, collaborating with stakeholders to overcome local challenges.
Monitoring & Documentation: Track student attendance, conduct assessments, and maintain accurate classroom records and field reports.
Content Innovation: Assist the team in developing, testing, and brainstorming creative new ideas to boost student engagement.
Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with school authorities, parents, students, and community leaders.
Self-Development: Growth is a two-way street! You will sharpen your own skills in classroom management, problem-solving, and communication.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education: A background in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Arts, English, Math, or related fields is preferred.
Skills: Strong communication skills in English and the local regional language (Tamil for Chennai / Telugu for Hyderabad).
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in basic digital tools like Google Docs and Google Sheets.
Mindset: Passionate about working with children, capable of working independently, and willing to travel locally for school fieldwork.
Experience (Plus): Prior experience in teaching, facilitation, NGO initiatives, or child-focused programs is a major advantage.
