About the Role: Making a Real Difference
As a Team Leader & Teacher with Pratham, you'll be at the forefront of their innovative approach to education. The program focuses on providing "right-level teaching" to lower primary children, using Pratham's proven methods and engaging activities to build strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Delivering Tailored Education: You'll conduct regular, engaging learning activities for children, focusing on literacy and numeracy, all while using Pratham's specially designed curriculum.
Tracking Progress: Maintaining accurate records of children's attendance, learning levels, and program activities will be key to monitoring their growth and the program's effectiveness.
Community Engagement: A vital part of this role involves actively involving parents and community members. Through home visits, meetings, and community "Melas" (fairs), you'll inspire and encourage participation in children's education.
Collaborative Teamwork: You'll work closely with the program team, ensuring smooth implementation of educational initiatives and community events.
Continuous Learning: Pratham is committed to professional development. You'll actively participate in training sessions and apply new teaching methods to continuously improve children's learning outcomes.
On-the-Ground Dedication: This role requires a readiness for both travel and extensive community work, immersing you directly within the heart of the communities you serve.
