Are you driven to foster sustainable rural growth and empower marginalized communities? The Centre for People's Forestry (CPF), a leading non-profit dedicated to uplifting tribal and rural poor communities since 2002, is actively seeking two Technical Experts / Cluster Coordinators. These vital roles, based in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana, offer a chance to directly contribute to impactful projects in natural resource management and livelihood enhancement.

Your Role in Driving Impact

As a Technical Expert / Cluster Coordinator, you'll spearhead field implementation across the Dummugudem and Cherla Mandals. A core responsibility will be guiding and overseeing Community Resource Persons (CRPs), providing crucial on-site support and building their capabilities. This includes mentoring CRPs and Women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs) / Producer Groups (PGs) in vital areas like Natural Resource Management (NRM) and livelihood development.

Your work will necessitate close collaboration with Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs) and Village Organizations (VOs), ensuring their active participation in project initiatives. You'll also work hand-in-hand with project Experts and Team Leaders, reporting on your progress and contributing to the overall success of these community-focused endeavors.

Who We're Looking For

CPF is seeking dedicated individuals with a strong passion for community development and a deep understanding of rural landscapes.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in fields such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, or Rural Development is preferred.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in watershed project development is essential, with a strong preference for backgrounds in tribal or rural settings.

  • Skills: A robust understanding of agriculture, rural development, and community mobilization is crucial for success in this role.

  • Age: Applicants should be up to 40 years of age.
