CEEW is looking for talented and motivated individuals to fill the following positions:
1. Research Analyst/Programme Associate – Energy Transitions
This role focuses on accelerating the deployment of distributed renewable energy (DRE) in India. The successful candidate will contribute to research on consumer adoption of new technologies, equitable incentives for stakeholders, and the development of conducive policies and regulations.
Eligibility:
A Master's degree in a relevant field.
Understanding of India's energy market, particularly DRE, and its policy and regulatory environment.
Strong analytical skills and experience in writing research papers, policy briefs, and articles.
Proficiency in MS-Excel is essential; knowledge of STATA/R/Python is an advantage.
2. Research Analyst – Sustainable Mobility
The ideal candidate for this position will help develop strategic roadmaps for sustainable mobility. The work involves data-driven diagnostics, participatory planning, and creating actionable interventions to advance sustainable and inclusive urban planning and mobility.
Eligibility:
A Master's degree in economics, policy (energy, transportation, climate, public policy), or a related discipline.
1-2+ years of relevant experience.
Intermediate to advanced quantitative, data analytics, and modeling experience (e.g., R, SPSS, STATA, Python).
Strong research skills, including the ability to conduct literature reviews.
3. Research Analyst – Sustainable Water
This position will support CEEW's Sustainable Water Programme, which informs policymaking for the sustainable development and effective management of water resources. The role involves research on the circular economy in used water management, water body rejuvenation, and climate action in the water sector.
Eligibility:
A Master's degree in environmental sciences/management/planning, water resources management/engineering, urban planning/management, hydrology, public policy, or a related field.
1-3 years of work experience, with prior experience in used water management and the circular economy sectors.
Competency in data collection and analysis, with good report writing and data visualization skills.

4. Officer – Admin
CEEW is also looking for an Admin Officer to join its Operations team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization's administrative processes.

A Master's degree in environmental economics, public policy, environmental studies, corporate sustainability, or a related field.
1.5 – 3 years of experience in carbon market research or a similar field.
A strong understanding of carbon market concepts and policy frameworks.
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
