Job Overview: Training Officer at Magic Bus
Location: Magic Bus Centre, Porur, Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹31,000 CTC per month
Experience Required: 1–2 years of relevant experience in training, education, skill development, youth development, CSR, or employability programs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Training Officer, you will be at the forefront of youth transformation, ensuring the high-quality delivery of the Magic Bus Livelihood Programme. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Training Delivery: Educate youth in essential employability skills, life skills, IT skills, financial literacy, AI, and digital literacy.
Interactive Teaching: Conduct engaging classroom sessions using innovative and interactive methodologies.
Experiential Learning: Lead experiential learning and "Sports for Development" activities.
Assessment & Mentorship: Evaluate youth performance, prepare Individual Personal Development Plans (PDPs), and guide candidates toward higher education or employment.
Tracking & Reporting: Monitor attendance, evaluate learning progress, provide continuous feedback, and maintain accurate training records, documentation, and MIS reports.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work alongside placement teams and employers to boost hiring outcomes. Build healthy relationships with youth, parents, local communities, colleges, and key stakeholders.
Community Outreach: Actively support youth mobilization and community outreach initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Magic Bus India Foundation is looking for dynamic individuals who meet the following qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. (A diploma or certification in a relevant domain is an added advantage).
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in training, teaching, counselling, or youth development.
Skills: Strong communication skills in both English and the local language, alongside basic computer knowledge.
Traits: A genuine passion for working with youth and underserved communities.
