About the Role: Training Support and Data Associate

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation, tracking, and evaluation of Arpan’s Personal Safety Education programmes. By working closely with trained participants, regional partners, and internal teams, the associate will ensure that outreach and impact data remain accurate, timely, and highly reliable.

  • Position Level: Associate level

  • Job Location: Mumbai (requires internal travel across rural and urban locations as needed)

  • Compensation: As per experience and market standards + eligible reimbursements

Major Job Deliverables & Key Responsibilities

As a Training Support and Data Associate, your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic, blending communication with technical data tracking. Major deliverables include:

  • Data Collection & Systems Management: Collecting, cleaning, verifying, and uploading field data into organizational systems. This includes removing duplications, rectifying entry errors, and maintaining organized digital documentation.

  • Participant Support & Mentoring: Connecting regularly with trained participants to collect indirect data, offering mentoring support, and documenting the challenges they face during implementation.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Interacting and following up with district officers, block officers, school principals, and NGO partners to compile relevant information.

  • On-Ground Operations: Organizing and conducting focused group discussions (FGDs) with participants in coordination with the internal Training Team.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Generating performance reports, keeping partner information strictly confidential in accordance with Arpan’s policies, and ensuring regular operational updates to coordinators and senior managers.

Eligibility Criteria & Key Qualifications

Arpan is looking for motivated individuals who fulfill the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), a Para-Professional/Certificate course in Social Work, or a Graduate degree in any academic stream.

  • Desired Experience: While a minimum of 1 year of past work experience in a relevant field is preferred, it is not mandatory. Fresh, motivated graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Hindi and Marathi is crucial for interacting with regional stakeholders and participants.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard data tools, including MS Excel, Google Forms, and general MS Office applications.

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal communication, strong attention to detail, perseverance, and adherence to strict operational protocols.
