Role Overview
The Child Welfare Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the holistic care, protection, rehabilitation, and overall development of children residing under the Udayan Ghar program. This full-time position requires close collaboration with families, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders to deliver comprehensive child protection services.

Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Case Management: Prepare detailed case histories and Individual Care Plans (ICPs).
Holistic Care: Ensure children’s education, health, well-being, and proper rehabilitation.
Inter-Agency Coordination: Work closely with the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), schools, hospitals, local police, and relevant stakeholders.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain comprehensive records while strictly adhering to standards under the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act and child protection framework.
Capacity Building: Conduct ongoing case reviews, life skills training, and empowerment activities for beneficiaries.
Transition Support: Facilitate child restoration, de-institutionalization, and transition to aftercare programs.
Reporting: Draft regular progress reports and support communication with donors.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Sociology, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in child protection or the NGO/development sector.
Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the JJ Act, 2015, POCSO Act, and national child protection mechanisms.
Core Competencies: Strong communication, structured documentation, and multi-stakeholder coordination skills.
2. Program Coordinator – Aftercare Outreach Program (AOP)
Role Overview
The Program Coordinator for the Aftercare Outreach Program (AOP) is tasked with planning, implementing, and monitoring program activities to support young adults transitioning out of institutional care. The objective is to facilitate successful social reintegration through guidance, life skills, educational advancement, and livelihood training.
Location: New Delhi (Includes Field & Office Work)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to ₹35,000 CTC per month
Key Responsibilities
Program Management: Plan, execute, and monitor day-to-day AOP activities to ensure program outcomes are met.
Counseling & Mentorship: Provide case management and counseling support to young adult beneficiaries.
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with government departments, educational institutions, prospective employers, and partner organizations.
Skill Building: Organize career guidance, employability, and life skills workshops.
Field Visits: Conduct field visits to track and facilitate the rehabilitation and reintegration progress of beneficiaries.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate beneficiary records, evaluate program outcomes, and prepare reports for donors and internal leadership.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in the NGO or social development sector.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and strong documentation/report-writing abilities.
