The Role: Shaping Digital Experiences for Social Good
The ideal candidate will be a driving force in making VOPA’s digital products accessible, user-friendly, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities Include:
User-Centric Design: Conducting user research and translating those insights directly into practical design solutions.
Prototyping & Iteration: Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize user flows, followed by conducting usability testing to refine designs.
High-Fidelity Interface Design: Crafting high-fidelity interfaces that successfully balance modern aesthetics with critical usability principles.
Collaboration: Working closely with product managers and developers in an agile environment to ensure seamless implementation.
Design Standards: Maintaining design consistency, accessibility, and brand alignment across all digital platforms.
Tool Proficiency: Expertise in modern design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is essential. (Experience with AI-powered design tools is a bonus!)
Who VOPA is Looking For
VOPA values talent, passion, and a user-first mindset.
Experience: Preferably 3+ years in UI/UX design, though freshers with an outstanding portfolio are strongly encouraged to apply.
Portfolio is Key: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of the design process is mandatory.
Skills: Proficiency in core design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch), a strong grasp of user-centered design principles, excellent visual design sensibilities (typography, layout), and stellar communication and collaboration skills.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
