  • Cattle Health & Breeding: You'll be responsible for organizing and conducting essential vaccination and deworming camps, providing immediate first-aid, and offering fundamental veterinary care. A central component of your role will be performing cattle artificial insemination (AI) to significantly improve herd genetics and overall productivity. You'll also meticulously monitor fertility and calving rates to ensure optimal reproductive health.

  • Training & Community Education: A key aspect of this role involves knowledge dissemination. You'll educate farmers on the substantial benefits of AI, proper cattle nutrition, effective disease prevention strategies, and optimal shelter management. Demonstrating best practices in cattle husbandry to local farmers and workers will be crucial for sustained success.

  • Monitoring & Record-Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of AI services, breeding outcomes, and overall cattle health status is paramount. You'll also track fodder, water, and housing conditions, offering essential advice to farmers for necessary improvements.

  • Community Engagement & Support: You will play a vital role in facilitating farmers' access to government livestock schemes, subsidies, and essential veterinary services. Engaging with local communities, cooperatives, and other stakeholders is fundamental to fostering sustainable cattle farming practices.

Who We're Looking For: Ideal Candidate Profile

Samvedna Development Society is seeking individuals with a minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience in livestock health management, specifically with hands-on expertise in cattle artificial insemination (AI).

Education: A Diploma in Animal Husbandry from a recognized institution is essential, along with demonstrated proficiency in AI techniques.

Essential Skills & Competencies: The successful candidate will possess:
