Your Role: Bringing Stories to Life Through Video
As a Video Editor at DMI Mission, you'll be at the heart of their content creation process. Your primary responsibility will be to transform raw footage into compelling visual narratives. This involves:
Expert Editing: Seamlessly trim, sequence, and assemble video footage for web, social media, marketing campaigns, and internal use.
Content Enhancement: Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, subtitles, animations, and special effects to elevate the visual experience.
Collaborative Creativity: Work closely with creative teams to understand project visions and bring them to fruition.
Program & Photography Integration: Obtain program details and photographs from country teams to create impactful program videos.
Platform Optimization: Optimize video content specifically for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and websites, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.
Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video editing and digital media.
Efficient Workflow: Manage the video library, maintain meticulous backups of final versions and raw footage, and adeptly handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Video Editing, Media Production, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.
Familiarity with audio editing and sound mixing.
A creative mindset coupled with strong storytelling skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in creating videos for digital marketing, social media campaigns, or brand storytelling.
Knowledge of photography and basic graphic design.
Experience working in a fast-paced creative environment.
