Program Officer Job Description: Make a Difference with World Comics India

The successful Program Officer will be a key player in supporting the entire program lifecycle at WCI, from planning to evaluation. This role involves crucial coordination with internal teams, external partners, and field staff, ensuring the effective delivery of program activities and the achievement of organizational goals.

Key responsibilities of this vital role include:

• Program Strategy & Implementation: Support the design and execution of program strategies and work plans, ensuring alignment with WCI's mission.

• Activity Coordination: Oversee daily program activities for timely and high-quality implementation.

• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare essential program documentation, including progress reports, case studies, and success stories, to highlight impact.

• Workshops & Training: Organize and facilitate impactful training sessions, workshops, and exhibitions.

• Digital Communication & Social Media: Manage WCI's social media handles and develop compelling content for publications, boosting online engagement and reach.

• Resource Mobilization: Contribute to proposal writing and donor reporting, playing a role in securing funding for future initiatives.

Qualifications for Aspiring Program Officers:

World Comics India is looking for candidates who are not just skilled but also share their vision for a better society.

Essential qualifications include:

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Media, or a related field.

• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the non-profit or development sector.

• Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and writing skills are paramount.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required; familiarity with data analysis tools is a definite plus.

Remuneration for this full-time position is ₹35,000 per month.
